Short Stay Accommodation (Vulnerable Land Use) in Bushfire Prone Areas (Air BnB)
Thinking of registering your home as Short Stay Accommodation or Air BnB in a Bushfire Prone Area? Contact Bushfire Prone Planning to discuss your requirements for progressing your development application through your Local Government.
Version 1.3 of the Guidelines for Planning in Bushfire Prone Areas was released in December 2017. The updated guidelines provide further guidance on “the proposed use will be contained within an existing single residential development or ancillary dwelling or associated outbuilding, and at a scale consistent with that of a typical existing residential dwelling, there may be reason for these to be treated as ‘minor development’ (refer to the definition in SPP 3.7). These uses may include bed and breakfast, family day care or home business”
Bushfire Prone Planning can assist with your Development Application from start to finish – From simple BAL assessments right up to complex Evacuation Planning for Vulnerable Communities. We have two qualified BPAD Level 3 Accredited Practitioners ready to assist with your next project.
