The new City of Kalamunda Community Centre has recently been completed. Bushfire Prone Planning completed the bushfire and environmental components underpinning the approvals for this project, which was a tight balance between conservation of environmental assets, especially the retention of valued Black Cockatoo tree habitat, and meeting bushfire requirements. Bushfire Prone Planning delivered the Bushfire Management Plan alongside the Environmental Reporting, which included Federal Environmental Approvals. We worked closely with our client Bollig Design Group and with the City of Kalamunda to achieve the desired outcomes for this facility, and it looks great!
